Umbria - the 'green heart of Italy' is often overshadowed as a wine region by neighbouring Tuscany. Quite unjustifiably, because both the quality and the originality of the wines produced here are in no way inferior to those of the famous neighbouring region. Above all, the wines from Montefalco are among the best Italy has to offer. Both the red wine, the mighty Sagrantino, and the recently (re)discovered Trebbiano Spoletino offer everything you would expect from top wines.

Filippo Antonelli is certainly one of the best interpreters of the classic wines from Montefalco. And it is not only the top growths such as the Sagrantino that are of outstanding quality and originality, but also the so-called 'simple' wines that possess expressiveness and character. It goes without saying that Filippo Antonelli produces his wines organically in the 'green heart of Italy'.
On Friday, 24 April, you can enjoy five selected wines by Filippo Antonelli with a tasting menu in the 'Leerer Beutel' restaurant, accompanied by a 5-course meal.
