WSET® Level 1 Award in Wines

The course covers traditional and international wine types as well as the most important grape varieties and growing regions. It teaches how to taste and describe wines professionally. Since most sales talks start with the topic of food and wine, practical examples are used to practise the harmony of wine and food.

At the end of the course there is a written test; it is the prerequisite for the original certificate from London.

The course can be used as an in-house seminar for staff training. There is enough time for company-specific topics such as product presentation, customer approach, service, etc. The wine samples come from the company's own wine cellar. The wine samples are of course from the company's own range.

In the case of an open course, the participants bring along brochures and price lists from their company, which are incorporated into the day.
